Hi,

I am new to this NG and recently saw a thread regarding the computer. I
also noticed somebody mention "secret functions", but didn’t repeat it
due to it being covered previously. Sorry to be a pain, but as I’m new
to this NG, could somebody let me know what they mean by this?

I have a ’97 323is Coupe, including the lux-pack and a few ‘extra’s’ for
good measure and it is, without doubt, the finest car I have ever
driven. The only gripe is the lack of channels on the roof, meaning if
the car’s wet and you open the window when cornering, you get soaked!

I have an 87 325.  My speedometer seems to work only when the RPM’s are
above 2500.  It tends to jump on then off again, sometimes it will work
for a day or two.  Has anyone seen this before.  If not could anyone
recommend a good service manual with wiring diagrams, is there one from
BMW??

Hey guys,

I was hoping you could help me. I’ve got an 87 325e that idles oddly.
It wanders up and down at idle between 1000rpm and 1700 rpm. It takes
it about 2-4 seconds to go up and back down. It will do this until
it warms up, and even occasionally when it is warmed up. I’ve had it
cut out on my at stop lights, too. Ugh. It was in a _slight_ fender
bender a month ago, and has been doing this ever since. What could it
be?
