I’ll be attending driving schools and autocrosses this year in hopes to learn
how to REALLY drive my M3 and will need a helmet. The Bell SportII EC looks
like a descent SA95 rated helmet for the price.
Any recommendations/opinions on a reasonable helmet?
Do you prefer full or open-faced helmets for these events?
Any recommendations on retailers?

I have a quick question… The temp gauge on my 86 528e isn’t working.
The thermostat is fine, it’s just the gauge. How do I go about replacing
it, or repairing it?

Hi everyone,
I recently got my wife a 97’318ti, and was wondering if I have any optional
power modifications for that cute little four cylinder from either BMW
themselves, or another reputable aftermarket company. Of course I assume that
there is no such modifications that would keep my existing warranty intact,
but if there is that would be my first choice. I am new to BMW as well as
this NG (I’m a Jeep guy at heart;-)…and in the beginning my wife had the
hardest time convincing me to get rid of my 4 Wheel drive truck for this
little Black car. I must say that I have grown quite fond of that little car
in a short period of time and find myself craning my head to look at every
bimmer I see, I’m already planning on getting myself an M5 next year! (of
course I’ll never get rid of the Jeep though:)Anyway, thanks in advance for
your help!

I am about to purchase a 98 528i and noticed that the Sport Package replaces
the wood trim inside with what is called a "technical" Trim. It is a black
metal looking trim. While this looks good with a black interior, it looks
odd with the sand leather interior. Does anyone know if the wood trim can
be substituted for the technical trim with the sport package.
Also, what do you think of the exterior look of the sport package. 17"
wheels aside, they took away the chrome trim around the window sills and
replaced them with just black trim.

I almost got slapped the other day…I was walking up to my 540i right
as a young woman was strolling by. I actuated the remote door opener
and the car made the normal sound which the young woman interpreted as
me whistling at her. She whirled around and glared at me and said
angrily "How could you?". I got into my car as I replied "I couldn’t
drive home otherwise."
