Discussions about BMW vehicles

What color blue was offered with the 95 and 96 M3?  How does it/they compare
to the Estoril Blue available with the 98?  What is the best color interior
with the blues?

Hi all:

Does anyone know what the Anti-knock Index (AKI) is?  The manual of my
car says to use AKI 87, corresponding to Research Octane 91 RON.  What
does this mean???

I have a line on a 73 2002 with 37,000 original miles (no, I won’t
tell you where!). Haven’t gotten a firm price yet. anyone out there

Does the CD Changer for the 95 530i fit on the 98 528i pre-wiring harness?

  I was interested in the v8 540 BMW and was refered to BMW about the
extended warrantee.  They said the nickle in the cylinder lining was attacked
by some gasoline which was high in sulpher.  They refered to rough idle but
said the block had to be replaced to fix the problem.  I find it difficult to
believe they would do this unless the problem was more significant than that.
 I would like to run one for alot of miles to make owning one practical but a
time bomb in the motor sounds like a bad choice.  Note the problem is not on
the 96 year.

  Anyone know of more details ?
