I have an 87 325. My speedometer seems to work only when the RPM’s are
above 2500. It tends to jump on then off again, sometimes it will work
for a day or two. Has anyone seen this before. If not could anyone
recommend a good service manual with wiring diagrams, is there one from
BMW??

Mine does the same thing on my 1984 325e. I just rap the dash repeatedly
until it starts working again.
Obviously a loose connection somewhere but I have never traced the problem
down.
