328si

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 2:32 pm

Hi all
I am new to the group
Has anyone had any trouble with a very stiff clutch on a 328si we have had
it replaced and it was just great but after only about 5 weeks
it was as stiff as ever making driving in slow traffic a nightmare it also
it also is very difficult to get a smooth pull away without slipping the
clutch
this was one of the reasons that the garage agreed to replace it in the
first place under warranty any advice would be a help

Can anyone tell me something about a Hartge 325. There is a 1989 available

Free E30 springs in SF

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 2:30 pm

I have the original springs from my 89 325is (replaced with Eibach at
139K miles). They’re just taking up space in the garage now. If anyone
wants them, they’re yours. I’m right next to SF.

CD Changer

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 1:32 am

I have just sourced a BMW changer, however when trying to fit I suspect its
the wrong model, the plug in the boot is a round one, whereas the socket on
the changer is rectangular, I think mine is the "p" whereas I need an "a"
type. My car is a 99 E36 convertible, Am I right in my assumption. ?

Flakey car key memory?

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 1:30 am

Howdy,

If your late model Bimmer has power seats with car key memory, how
dependable have you found the key memory to be?

Mine seems to act unpredictably.  Even when I’ve locked the car with my
key, opening it later can occasionally cause the seat to change to an
alternate key’s settings.  I’m at a loss to explain that.

I’d love to know the set of rules the key memory follows to determine its
actions.

X3 ride quality?

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 1:30 am

Howdy,

Car & Driver’s review of the X3 a few months ago slammed the X3 for its
handling, claiming the X3 to be uncomfortable to ride in for extended
periods of time.

If you have an X3, do you concur with this?

I’ve seen very few X3′s in the wild; I wonder how well they’re selling?
