Trailer Hitch for E85 (z4)

Filed under: Uncategorized — admin @ 2:34 am

No really!  I’m looking for a hitch I can use my hitch-mount bike rack with.
Any Z4 jockeys out there who’ve found/installed hitches on their cars?

  2. Thanks for the pointers.  No dice on either one so I’m still looking.

When he cleaned under the seats, he probably disconnected the cables WITH
THE KEY IN THE IGNITION! You will need to go to the dealer or get/borrow the
reset tool. Your local BMW CCA chapter may be a source for the loan of the
    tool.

  5. I just bought one for $125.00. If anyone lives in the north side of
Atlanta and needs to borrow one, email me
    netlocksusa(DeleteForSpam)@hotmail.com .

If you don’t mind me asking, what tool did you get, and where did you get
it?  The air bag light has been on in my Z3 for some time now, and I’d like
to be able to reset it myself.

    Thanks.

  7. Got it from http://bimmerzone.com/BMW_SRS_Airbag_reset_tool.htm for
less then $130.00 shipped. My dealer would have charged $95.00 to even
    LOOK at it.

Thanks Zack.  The previous owners of my Z3 said that the light came on when
they had a new stereo installed.  I didn’t know whether or not to believe
that, but the description for the tool lists that as one of the possible
ways to trigger the light.  Sounds like it is time to place an order.
